In this lesson group members were asked to remove the girl from original picture using the quick mask tool. Here are some of the results. well done everyone who gave us some great results

The Curve Tool (Beginners)

In this tutorial we are going to touch on the curve tool, which allows you to make finer adjustments to a photo. A good Idea is to find a under exposed photo or even an over exposed photo and make the adjustment with the curves tool.. You might think its a lot of faffing about when you could use a filter, but all photos are different in composition lighting etc. So give curves a go you will soon grow to like it... Watch the video tutorial you will see what we mean.

Retro Sunburst Effect

This sunbusrt effect was made by one of our most revered group members who did this from a tutorial. Its worth noting trying to keep the lines on the smaller side when doing this tut. You will see a lot of this design in many magazines and on the web.

Adjusting The Tones In Your Photos

On Cloud 9

Another fine piece of artwork here using Photoshop, making use of shapes and brushes this design was not done through a tutorial but off the top of this group members head. I think this has an apt name to be honest

A few of our members do enjoy photography as well here you can see the original photo and the finished item. Editing and adjusting photos is all part of the groups make up. What has been changed here is that the photo at the top is the original with its colder looking shot, whilst the one below has been given a bit of warmth to it. Which has completely changed the look of the shot.

Tulip Art

This was a basic photo of a tulip but was edited in photoshop to give it an artistic look. The picture itself was taken with a DSLR camera and the background and scratch effect was added as layer effects. Once again this was a tutorial which the group member completed...

Mapped Soda Can

This was a tutorial that one of our members completed a few weeks ago now. At the top and bottom of the can was designed with brushes. Whilst the cans grass and flower effect was mapped over the can itself.
